The Pisces/Virgo Full Moon and the Last Week of Winter
It's the last week of winter, and it feels like it. Spitting snow dances with raindrops in a sudden squall that just blew in from Utah. The skies are cloudy gray and filled with moisture. Windy gusts uplift tufts of the new-lain straw on the garlic patch in our outside garden as a lonely robin hops across the slowly greening grass.
The shift-shaping cusp between the seasons always takes place in mutable-cardinal signs - malleable, mutable energy giving way to forward-moving, directive cardinal energy. In winter, the amniotic waters of amorphous Pisces surrenders to fiery, headstrong Aries, giving birth to spring. And it is here we feel the struggle, the labor of rebirth as the alchemical process begins. As the Mother Earth transforms beneath our feet, our senses awaken. We see, feel, smell and hear the sights and sounds of new life.
I heard the springtime season's first meadowlark yesterday on our morning walk. It was mixed with the soft song of bluebirds beneath the familiar caw of the shiny-black, resident ravens. A pair of Canadian geese flapped and squawked in a fly-over as a majestic bald eagle soared and circled high above us all. The day was warm, but the air was cool. Drying fields and forest patches of snow underfoot shouted "the playing-field is changing."
This time of year, one day feels like winter, the next day feels like spring. And so it is. Vernal Equinox takes place on March 20th @ 10:57 am MDT. Spring shall spring forth. From now until then, enjoy the mutable flexibility and embryonic metastasis of Pisces. Also take note of the powerful Virgo/Pisces full Moon, which comes to fruition on March 16th @ 11:08 am MDT. [The Moon will appear full on both the evenings of March 15th - the ides of March! - and March 16th]. Two nights to feel your feelings and find your soul under the illuminating light of Old Man Winter's last full Moon.
Good luck and may the magical, azure-blue Mountain Bluebird be your guide through the metaphoric, metamorphic birth canal of spring. Blessings and peace…
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) With so much coming to a head, you may feel spun out or spinning. All the more reason to slow the pace, rest and relax when you need to. Inner work, prayer and meditation help re-center and calm the body, mind and spirit. Make time; find the place and space to do it. When in fear or doubt, practice the art of faith. Stay in the present moment and do the next right thing.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) A powerful pack of planets above the celestial horizon in your solar chart keep pulling you out and about, asking for engagement with and attention to outside influences, relationships and situations. Just remember that this year, the most beneficial activities and pastimes come via self-nurturing and self-care. Rest, relax, enjoy life and dream beautiful dreams.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Ruler Mercury now direct in late Aquarius enters Pisces this week and remains there for three. This translates as a fresh start and clean slate regarding personal goals and achievements. Recent retrogrades have given you plenty of time to think about what you want to accomplish. Now it’s time to orchestrate a plan and take the first baby steps toward manifestation.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) The Pisces/Virgo full Moon of March 16th delivers a luminous package of hope, compassion, discernment and humility. Your innate sensitivity to other’s emotions and feelings awards you with the insight to what’s really going on inside, rather than what appears outside. As a natural intuitive, use your skills wisely. Observe and suggest rather than dictate and direct.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) With springtime around the corner, you may feel the passionate heat of inner fires burning wildly out of control. Imagination and fantasy run rampant as days grow longer and warmer. Balance lower-self desires with higher-self awareness as spirits soar and hearts beat faster. Embrace Mother Nature in her dance of delight as you chose truth and cultivate integrity.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) You may find this week to be one of unusual emotional, physical, mental and spiritual challenge as the Pisces Sun and Virgo Moon conjoin in a close square to our Milky Way’s Galactic Center. Rather than fight the cosmic tide, go with it. You are being provided with tremendous energetic support for releasing old beliefs and realizing your divinely inspired destiny. Surrender.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) Quantum physics tells us that light is both particle and wave, depending on the observer and observed. This week's full Moon energy has Virgo perceiving the particulate, Pisces seeing waves of potential. As usual, balance is the key to enlightened success and ultimate happiness. We are the hands, eyes and fingertips of the gods and goddesses, divine consciousness incarnate. Dance the dance, embrace the magic.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) With Saturn recently retrograde in Scorpio, you may feel both relief and resignation. Inner and outside pressure has lessened; the push to move forward – come hell or high water - has dissipated. Take a deep breath and release the toxic tensions of tightrope fear. Do it again; and again. The Pisces full Moon offers you the magic of letting go. Let it go, live and let go.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) The Virgo/Pisces full Moon, square the late-degree Sagittarius Galactic Center, heralds a major life turning point and powerful, personal awakening for Archers, young and old. Rather than struggle with what comes your way, accept it. Dance with the stars and surf the cosmos instead of being blasted, thrashed and trashed. You know what to do, so do it.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)The water and earth elements of the Pisces/Virgo full Moon support, harmonize and resonate with Capricorn’s practical, material, physical needs and nature, so why then are you feeling like the world is a scary, unstable and unreliable place to be? A combination of planetary and cosmic energy suggests deep breathing, meditation and prayer. Try it out. This too shall pass.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) As the sweet beauty and luscious love of Venus surrounds you this week and month, count your blessings and share the bounty. Take a good look at what you are giving to those with whom you live, work and play. Are you caught up in personal agendas and self-interest or actually taking the pause to appreciate and acknowledge the ones who have helped you along the way?
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) The Pisces/Virgo full Moon of March 16th marks an important checkpoint in your yearly revolution around the Sun. How well are you balancing personal needs with those of others? Are you allowing adequate time for personal renewal and regeneration? Do you feel depleted of energy or invigorated, with plenty to spare? Listen to your heart. Follow its wisdom.

Celestial Music, Planetary Shifts and Cosmic Flows
With Mercury now direct in the last decant of Aquarius, and Jupiter resuming forward motion on March 6th at 10º Cancer, we might hope to see and feel an overall shift from backward, back-sliding, stasis energy to that of progress, development and manifestation. But, hey now. Not so fast.
Yes, it’s true that Mercury – ruler of communication, thought, perception, speech, mechanics, logistics, plans, travel, medicine, magic and all things mental – seems to have a mysteriously subtle, and yet simultaneously powerful effect on the way things unfold and come to pass in our day-to-day living and life here on planet Earth. It is a personal planet, like the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars – so it has a tendency to show up in close and personal ways. What we think, how we talk, even how we walk.
When this mythological messenger is moving forward, it rips through each sign in less than 30 days. Things seem normal, business as usual. When it joins force by conjunction with any of the other planets in our solar system – and this occurs several times each year as Mercury takes only 88 earth days to make one revolution around the Sun - we experience the glowing, energetic awareness of the conjoined planet via the mental plane. Expansive, philanthropic ideas [Mercury conjunct Jupiter] or artistic, creative designs and musings of romantic love [Mercury conjunct Venus] are examples. When Mercury transits our individual Sun sign, we often feel intellectually stimulated and perceptually astute.
Of course, when Mercury is moving in apparent backward motion, it’s different. When planetary conjunctions and natal transits take place during the three-times-a-year, 3-week period of Mercury retrograde, we are well advised - and the cosmos actually favors - the reworking of whatever personal issues, situations, circumstances and/or behaviors we find upsetting, disturbing, frustrating, confusing, or simply not working out the way we had planned. And today, because we have just recently ended a 3-week period of Mercury retrograde, it gives all of us a great opportunity to examine what happened and just how we experienced and dealt with this enigmatic planet.
Mercury went retrograde on February 6th at 03º Pisces and moved back through Aquarius to resume forward motion on February 28th at 18º Aquarius. It will reach 03º Pisces again on March 23rd, thus moving out of its “shadow” and making those first tracks through the fresh celestial territory of the coming year. Mercury will not go retrograde again until June 7th at 03º Cancer. From now until then, check it out! And remember, Mars is now retrograde in Libra [March 1st through May 20th] and Saturn is retrograde in Scorpio [March 2nd through July 20th], so we are just starting to take an extended look at the motivation and structure of our deepest and most binding commitments and relationships. More about that next week…
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) Jupiter, planet of good luck and good fortune, goes stationary direct March 6th. This translates as a shift in personal caretaking and self-nurturing, changes that come from several months of deep self-review. Excessive self-indulgence – physical, material and emotional - creates pain and suffering. Balance equations, practice self-restraint and reap the karma of peace.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) You may find yourself exploring avenues of intellect and information as mental Mercury goes direct in your solar 10th house of ambition and achievement. Consider education in one-way or another, as your mind is ready to learn and there is much to discover. Self-improvement comes via work and service to others. One-to-one is best. Be calm, cool and clear.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Mercury and Venus in your solar 9th house of the higher mind favors intellectual exchanges and interactions with people you find inspirational. You may be attracted to revolutionary, radical techniques, ideas and concepts as you realize solutions come in strange, unusual packages. Heart centered desire returns with a request. Review and reconsider.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Matter and spirit, reason and intuition play hide-and-seek with thought and emotion as you move through the week. Themes of unity, divinity and interconnectedness emanate throughout the cosmos as you walk your walk. Saturn direct in your 5th house of love and creativity bodes well for all matters of the heart. It’s time to start working toward desire manifestation.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) Rising tides and shifting seas rock and roll you through uncharted waters, forcing a deep look at soul and spirit. Are you living with integrity and truth? Are you hiding amongst dark clouds of doubt and fear or caught up in a relationship too powerful to let go of? Honesty with self is imperative. Love is a dance of freedom and responsibility. Dance the dance.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) The dance of Virgo/Pisces is delicate and sublime, earth-centered and yet ethereal. This time of year offers great insight in areas of energy flow and integration, in particular how your personal energy affects others. You may not realize the power of the invisible. Thoughts and moods manifest actual forces, pay attention to what you think and feel. Be calm and compassionate.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) The fundamental challenge of our time is to unite head and heart, physical and metaphysical. What better time than now? As the Pisces Sun winds it way toward the Virgo full Moon, take pause and listen to the ethereal, Pythagorean Music of the Spheres – celestial ratios and harmonics that affect all life on Earth. Slow the pace and entrain with the cosmic heart and soul.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) With taskmaster Saturn now retrograde in Scorpio, recalibrate your jets and slow down. A return to the Source is mandatory, dictating that you retrace and revisit anything and everything – relationships, commitments, behaviors, patterns, habits, etc. – that cause pain or suffering for yourself and/or others. This is an awesome opportunity to finally get it right.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) The upcoming lunar fruition of March 16th forms an exact T-square to the Milky Way’s Galactic Center at 27º Sagittarius. This translates as an over-the-Moon opportunity for seeing exactly what must be accepted and integrated into your life, behaviors and relationships. Compassion and discernment are allies now. Release ego and focus on goodness. We are One.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Ruler Saturn recently retrograde indicates a powerful time of revision and reconstruction of your most cherished hopes, dreams and wishes. Innately practical and realistic, you are not one for fantasy schemes and mystical illusions. You prefer strategic plans and achievable goals. Now through mid-July, gather stones and lay the foundation for your opus Magnus.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Voluptuous Venus enters your sign this week and signs you up for a month of increasing beauty, romance and creativity. Others find you mysteriously attractive, fun to be around and artistically inspirational. Cooperation and diplomacy are allies. As you share your knowledge, experience, strength and hope with the world, magic happens. Relax and enjoy it!
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) Birthdays continue as candles are lit and cakes are cut. Celebrations of life are in order. You are a miracle of love and light, sharing your wisdom and compassion with the world. Walk your talk and live in beauty. Lead by example and remember it’s attraction, not promotion that helps others the most. Angels and spirits assist and guide you now. Follow them, show others the way.

Join Hands and Walk in Beauty, Peace and Love
The Sun - our magnificent central star - and the Mother Earth’s sweet, silvery satellite - the Moon - come together on March 1st at 12:59 am MST @ 11º Pisces, initiating the last lunar month of our natural year.
Pisces is the 12th and last sign of the tropical zodiac. It comes at the end of winter, as days grow longer and weather shape-shifts from crystalline ice and slanting snow to transformational melts and thaws, floods and flowing waters. Rivers rise as emerging greens paint blonde and brown meadows with the colors of new life.
The mutable, restless modality of Pisces arrives shrouded in mist, cloaked in snow and sleet, pregnant with rain. Gentle, rolling thunder announces the end of winter as clouded slate-grey skies follow shadows and dance in muted light. Mornings sparkle with the day’s surrender to blue. New hope, new dreams, new visions await those willing to begin again.
As outside worlds change, we also feel shifting patterns, restless emotions and morphing spirits inside. As above, so below. Here we are, embarking upon another ending, another cycle, another revolution around the Sun. The alpha and Omega, eternal ends and new beginnings.
Last night, I attended the 2014 Telluride Aids Benefit Sneak Peek Fashion Show. Wow! What a Piscean event! Art, music, models and madness. Flirty, fun, frivolous and fancy, this magnificent creative effort and philanthropic event constellates the acceptance, compassion, surrender and service that Pisces is all about. Judgment and prejudice melt in the ethers of Oneness. We forgive ourselves and others, we recognize the beauty in diversity, the common ground upon which we all walk, upon this beautiful blue planet. Earth.
Here’s to my two little Aries/Pisces nieces, the ones who came to visit and played dress-up, danced and sang and made my world sparkle with love and light. Good job, Allie. May we all join hands and walk in beauty, peace and love.
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) As we near the end of the astrological year, you may feel more introspective and reticent than you have in months. Zodiac Pisces represents the womblike gestation period prior to birth, and must be approached with respect and surrender. Take time to rest, relax and regenerate. Breathe deep, meditate, pray and prepare for rebirth.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) The Pisces new Moon marks the beginning of the last lunar month of the natural year. As an earth-centered Bull, you are inherently in tune with Mother Nature’s seasons and cycles. Emerging spring uplifts your spirit and inspires you to get out and about. Connect with people of like mind and interest, seek out friends and explore new social options.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Ruler Mercury goes direct the last day of February, ending a 3-week retrograde cycle in the most elevated sector of your solar chart. This served as a time to re-vision and revise belief systems, political perspectives and overall spiritual consciousness. Now it’s time to identify what inspires you and reconnect with heartfelt desires.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) The Pisces Sun and Moon join force in the wee hours of March 1st and open the door on the natural year’s last lunar month. Endings and closure are themes as you see the bigger picture of your life and relationships. Anger, vendettas and resentments do not serve any positive purpose now. Focus on forgiveness and common ground.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) Mercury goes direct this week as both Mars and Saturn go retrograde. This translates as a rather rough and tumble energy of stop and go, come and stay; love, learn and leave. Confusion and chaos clear up regarding partners and relationships while personal desires change in shape and size. Do the inner work. Focus on self-inventories and self-care.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) New Moon energy encourages fresh starts and new horizons in your most important relationships and commitments. Others are willing to show up and share the love, joy, pain and gain. Are you? Mutable signs are characteristically restless, inherently flexible and often confused. Excellent time to journal, meditate and work a program. Practice consistency.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) Big news this week is the retrograde station of Mars in Libra, as it extends the customary 6-week transit of Mars through a sign to almost 8 months [12.07.13 to 07.26.14]. Good news is that you are being provided with plenty of time to retrofit, revision and redesign love and desire, work on personal agendas and take a long look at what you really want. Good luck!
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Serious Saturn, Master Teacher and Lord of Karma, goes retrograde in Scorpio this week and remains so until mid-July. Smile and relax, this translates as an extremely potent and powerful time to re-evaluate the metamorphic life journey you’ve been on since early October 2102. And no better time to begin than on a Pisces new Moon. Connect with spirit.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) You may feel pushed and pulled, dazed and confused as three planets change direction within 3 days of the March 1st Pisces New Moon. Exchange, replace and remove are keywords as people, places and things must adjust to crashing waves and shifting tides. Focus on the freedom of uncertainty, the ever-expanding Universe. You’re good at this, go with the flow.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Ruler Saturn goes retrograde in Saturn shortly following the solar and lunar conjunction of the Pisces New Moon. This translates as an extended period of review, re-evaluation and re-vision of your highest hopes, most cherished dreams and aspirations. All is good; you know that knowing what you want is the first step of manifestation. Take your time.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Messenger trickster Mercury resumed forward motion in Aquarius on the last day of February, ending a 3-week period of personal re-evaluation and review. The days of extended rest and relaxation have ended, now you face several months of action and productivity. It’s time to return to work, and your ready. Embrace the moment, be here now.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) Take a good long look at the road of life as it shimmers and glimmers before you. This is your birth month and the time is now. As the magical conjunction of a Pisces new Moon infuses you with starlight, take time to make a wish and count your blessings. Gratitude is the road to grace and you are on it. Congratulations on another revolution around the Sun!

Visible Planets: Morning: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn Evening: Jupiter
Mercury Rx on the Aquarius/Pisces Cusp
As the Sun waves goodbye to air-apparent Aquarius and enters the numinous waters of Pisces, we experience a subtle but major shift of energy and consciousness. The fixed nature of Aquarius engenders strength and conviction, favors focus and encourages concentration. There is a certain tenacity and perseverance in Aquarius, a tendency to get things done and bring whatever has been initiated to successful conclusion. Friendship and camaraderie are also attractive as the Sun transits the 11th sign of the Tropical Zodiac. It’s where and when we find inspiration and pleasure via group interactions, shared visions and common ideals. As solar rays become more direct, snows melt and days grow longer. The first inklings of Spring emerge. Fields of matted grass and muddy earth remind us that winter is on the wane. And then comes Pisces…
The mutable flexibility of the zodiac’s 12th and final sign takes the firm beliefs and fixed opinions of Aquarius and submerges them in a sea of shifting tides, darkening skies and rolling thunder. The amorphous waters of Pisces carry us through oceans of emotion and deep wells of feeling. We face the multi-dimensional possibilities of our ever-expanding Universe and realize that perhaps we truly do not know, that our strongly held perceptions of reality may actually be an illusion, nothing more than an acquired taste, a thought, an idea relative to what we’ve been exposed to, to what we have defined as real.
The Aquarius/Pisces cusp is one of my favorite times of year. It resonates with unlimited potential and possibility, questions beliefs, breaks down rigidity and transforms the structures upon which we construct our realities. Both my husband and older sister Pam were born at this time of year, and I love them both dearly. They are awesome. Aquarius camaraderie, purpose and knowledge combined with Piscean loving-kindness, sensitivity and compassion. Yes!
And on another note, but in the same magical song, during the current 2014 Aquarius/Pisces cusp-time we are dealing with a powerful retrograde Mercury cycle. I’ve had many people comment on it in this go-round, including my born-on-the-edge of Pisces 28º Aquarius husband. I’ve even heard him talking about the crazy, wacky things that have happened to him and others, then counseling his friends and brothers about the Mercury Rx phenomena: “Just use the prefix “re,” he says. “Re-do, re-work, re-invent. Don’t start new projects. Finish the things you’ve already started.” Amazing! But then, Mercury has been transiting Aquarius, retrograde at 28º, exactly on his Sun! Go figure.
Astrology triumphs once again. But, of course, that’s because it’s transformational, just like life. And if you’re wondering when Mercury retrograde ends, that would be the last day of February. Until then, have fun retracing steps and rediscovering the magic and magnificence you may have been to busy to see or missed that first time around. Good luck and may the will of Aquarius and the compassion of Pisces be with you.
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) You may be feeling the effects of retrograde Mercury in late Aquarius via the retrofitting of hopes and dreams. The radical personal changes and awakenings of Uranus in Aries over the last few years has put you in places and spaces you never dreamed possible. Now you see just how possible it is. Truth is truth and honesty is honesty. Practice them both.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) As the Sun moves into Pisces, you may feel a subtle but major shift of heart and soul. Recent physical and emotional challenges may have stunned or stopped you in your tracks, forcing stasis and allowing you time to take a good look at what’s going on inside. The time for inner work is here. Take it slow and easy. One day at a time. Health is wealth.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) The Sun’s entrance into Pisces heralds a zodiac month of increasing ambition and accomplishment. As days lengthen and solar rays become more direct, you also feel more energized, awake and aware. With plenty to do and get done, you may at first feel overwhelmed. Nothing like job security! Mercury retrograde favors finishing unfinished starts. Good luck.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) As the Moon waxes toward full, tap in to the ebb and flow of life’s eternal mystery and magnificence. Pisces sunshine lifts the spirit and opens the heart. Altruistic acts and unselfish desires find you on a high road of pure motive and good intention. Stay on the path as you surrender to relaxation, meditation and prayer. Look for guardian angels, they are here.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) Pisces energy deepens the depth of your relationships as you feel the strong emotional intensity of your desires. Whatever, whenever, whoever and wherever you are, recognize the power of loving-kindness and compassion. This is your ticket to happiness, inner peace and outer success. Cultivate faith and practice patience. Let others come to you.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) As the Sun moves in to your solar 7th house, you may feel under water or overwhelmed by the rising tides in your relationships. Keep your boat afloat with a daily practice of self-care and self-direction. Focus on healthy boundaries and say no when you need to. Resurrect and revive programs of physical, emotional, spiritual wellness. You need your sleep!
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) With ruler Venus still transiting Capricorn and Mercury retrograde in Aquarius, you may feel the pulls of personal projects and priorities in and all around you. Take a good look at what is right in front of you and start there. Clean, organize, discard and revamp. This is the perfect time to pick up wherever you left off. Stick with it, day by day, minute by minute.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) A rather reticent, peaceful, quiet week evolves as Mercury retrograde encourages home-based projects and programs of self-nurturing and self-care. Take it easy, find time to relax and refrain from pushing yourself in directions you don’t want to go. Journaling, inner work and quiet contemplation awakens the divinity within. Open your heart, accept what comes.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) The last month of winter begins as the Sun enters Pisces and your solar 4th house of home and family. Embrace a zodiac month of inner work, self-nurturing and self-care. Review, retrace and remember what you’ve done and where you’ve been over the last 12 months. Now it’s time to reprioritize your plans and strategies in light of the past. Take it slow.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Motivation to achieve and accomplish continues, but with Mercury retrograde in your solar 2nd house of self-resource and self-direction, you may feel thwarted or prevented from achieving those highly prioritized goals. No worries, no danger; everything in time. When things don’t work out, it’s because they are not supposed to. Do your best; the Universe will take care of the rest.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Messenger maverick Mercury in your sign plays coyote tricks and enchanting music as you move through mists of illusion, oceans of emotion and clouds of confusion. In spite of the potential frustration, it’s happening as it should be. We all need times of rest and relaxation, stasis and solitude. This is your time. Find joy in simple pleasures. Make a plan.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) Candles are lit and cakes are cut as glimmering, shimmering Pisces celebrates another revolution around the Sun. Count your blessings and make those gratitude lists. There is some much to be thankful for! Take your time and savor the beauty and bounty of life. Accept the mystery and dance in the light of spirit. You are beautiful and blessed. Enjoy the joy.

Visible Planets: Morning: Venus, Mars, Saturn Evening: Jupiter
Silvery Moonbeams, Divine Grace, Peace and Love
It is mid-February and Cupid is alive and well. Hearts and flowers, chocolate, hugs and kisses. Whether you are in a committed relationship, exploring casual romance or free to find your heart’s desire, this day is perennially one that aims arrows of love straight to the heart.
The heart. The center of our physical life, the place where we feel, are inspired, guided and directed. The heart has a deep sense of knowing, a wisdom that transcends reason and thought. It is the center of our being, the place we hold our love, our hopes and dreams. Precious and magnificent, courageous and strong, the heart is our hero, king and queen, mother and father, angel and guardian, lover and friend.
This year, the Aquarius/Leo full Moon takes place on Valentine’s Day, shimmering silvery moonrays upon us all. Romantic and enigmatic, puzzle and masterpiece, this heartfelt holiday lunation promises joy, intrigue, pause and wonder. With velvet Venus recently direct in crafty Capricorn and messenger Mercury now retrograde in the late degrees of egalitarian Aquarius, we may find ourselves reminiscing about our romantic past, examining the truth and value of our relationships and behaviors. Did we give our best? Were we honest and true with ourselves and others, fair and equitable, affectionate and available to the ones we loved? And what about today? Have we learned from past paramours? Are our current relationships working, true to heart and soul? Am I maintaining healthy boundaries, showing up and accepting responsibility for my part?
Valentine's week is a fabulous time for friendship, camaraderie and fellowship; filled with magical moments and powerful possibilities. It's a time for living and loving, finding and following our hearts. Good luck, good love and may the memories; magic and magnificence of St. Valentine carry you through this special week and month. Happy, happy. Joy, peace and love. Give your heart.
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) Co-ruled by Saturn and Uranus, Aquarius honors and values law and conscience, responsibility and freedom, community and individuality. This week’s full Moon illuminates feelings of friendship and camaraderie, encouraging heart-centered honesty and expressions of love. Finding balance is key to living well. Cultivate integrity, demonstrate equality.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) The Aquarius/Leo full Moon illuminates issues of head and heart, asking us to find a balance and common denominator between the two. Passion needs a rational path to manifestation and desire must be tempered with patience. This week, take a good look at your goals. Balance them with a realistic assessment of self and situation. Self-care is number one. Take it easy.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Valentine's Day ignites the spirit and fans flames of fun and romance for flirty Twins. For those who prefer mutually exclusive relationships, it’s the perfect time to give and share love via clever cards and inventive gifts. For those who don’t, the sky is the limit. And with an especially rich full Moon on board, don’t forget friends and family. Express your heart.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) You may be surprised by the love and affection coming your way via lovers, friends and family. Even people on the street seem to smile and shine when you walk by. Congratulations! Jupiter and Venus are dancing in duet, shimmering beauty and grace upon your path. Count your blessings, feel the grace and express the gratitude you feel, heart and soul.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) The Sun in Aquarius opposes the Moon in Leo on Valentine's Day this year, opening your heart to the abundant, vibrant love and life on planet Earth. You see the wide expanse of unlimited potential and possibility shimmering all around you. People and places shine with goodness; it’s yours for the taking. Ground yourself with love, follow your heart.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) As the last week of Aquarius winds its way toward Pisces, find your grace in the progressive practice of self-improvement. Accept rather than criticize, embrace rather than shun. Compassion and loving-kindness are allies. Negative thinking and caustic speech are not. Slow down when you are rushing, listen rather than talk. Love rather than hate. Cultivate peace.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) Valentine's Day full Moon rising glimmers love and light upon your path, the stars align in grace and gratitude as you walk a path of beauty and humility. No room these days for inflated heads, careless speech and selfish acts. True love is sacred, hearts are strong and truth is holy. Listen to your heart and follow its wisdom. Reach out and touch the light.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Dynamic, powerful and full of passion, the full Moon light of love and humanity shimmers into your heart and soul. Somewhere, deep down inside, you feel the foundational essence of authentic power - truth, integrity and equanimity. And yet, there is so much inequity and injustice in our world. Be the change you want the world to be. Lead by example.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) Higher self-being and heartfelt living are dictums for you now. Principles of the Aquarian Age ring true as the Valentine full Moon resonates with themes of universal brotherhood and sisterhood. And yet, the hard-core reality of class, race and economic inequality and prejudice haunts your idealistic heart. Don’t give up. Live your truth, be the best you can be.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) You may feel somewhat powerless in the face of inevitable geophysical, social, political and economic flux and change. No worries, there is nothing that you do personally to control the outcome. Simply stand up for what you know is right, live fully in the present, take action when necessary and lean back when appropriate. One day at a time. It works.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Soul and spirit embrace in the dance of unity in diversity as the Sun and Moon align in the opposition aspect of an Aquarius/Leo full Moon. As the winter “party Moon” comes to fruition on Cupid’s favorite holiday, you may feel the power of love and the joy of life deep within your heart and soul. As minds and charkas open, remain centered in spirit. Be true to you.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) Retrograde Mercury in your solar 12th house of soul and spirit fills hearts with compassion and loving-kindness as the Moon grows full. Find quiet, peaceful places to breathe deep, appreciate natural beauty and connect with the powers of divine grace. Relax, review and regenerate body and mind. Get plenty of rest; cultivate inner peace and practice forgiveness...

The Astrology of Pain and Gain, Win or Lose
What happened to the Broncos? As reluctant as I am to relive that horrendously disappointing and unbelievably pathetic performance by Colorado’s home team, I am compelled to do so. So, here we go…
Nothing worked. From the rude interruption by Fox News of the SB pre-game show – on Super Bowl Sunday! – of Bill O’Reilly’s totally inappropriate interview with President Barack Obama, to the first fumbled play of the game by the Broncos, subsequent safety and two-point score for Seattle, all the way through to the game’s bitter end, nothing worked for the Broncos. Of course, for Seattle, it was all good. Why?
I don't bet on or predict sports. And as an astrologer, I am always careful and characteristically reticent when it comes to prediction. Of course, ironically, that’s what most people want. It is often why people turn to astrology in the first place. What will happen? When will I meet the man of my dreams? Will this relationship work out? Tell me what’s going to happen this year, will I get the job? What happens if I move?
As far as the charts for Denver [DOB 11.07.1861] and Seattle [DOB 12.02.1869] - the dates of each city’s incorporation – the odds of winning were heavily in favor of Seattle. The biggest differences between the two charts were the positions of Saturn – planet of fear and loss – and Uranus – planet of upset and change - and Mercury - ruler of communication, strategy and play. Saturn was conjunct Denver’s natal Scorpio Sun [life force, spirit] and Mercury.
In the Seattle natal chart, Saturn was conjunct Seattle’s Scorpio Moon [emotions, soul and sense of security]. Saturn on the Sun [Denver] translates as restriction of the life force, difficulty in self-expression and inhibited self-confidence and/or purpose. Saturn conjunct Mercury [Denver] translates as inability to communicate, restriction of play and difficulty in thinking, hearing and speech. Saturn on the Moon [Seattle] translates as restricted, calculated or controlled emotions resulting in a cool head and cold heart, aka the shrewd executioner. Meanwhile, the position of Mercury in Seattle’s chart was highly favorable. Wild upstart Uranus in Aries was in a lucky trine aspect to Seattle’s natal Mercury and Sun in Sagittarius, igniting fire and inspiring the spirit of this young, new-wave, revolutionary team. As self-proclaimed rebels, radicals and renegades - all of which come under the guardianship of Uranus - the entire Seattle team played with plenty of heart and emotional focus; they surprised and virutally stunned the nation. Out with the old and in with the new. And so it goes…
The door has now officially closed on the 2013 football season. We are here in early February, looking forward to spring. The days are getting longer, the Sun’s rays each day, more direct. Plenty of snow and cold, but silver linings shimmer on every cloud. Congratulations go to Seattle. And good luck to all of us as Mercury – coyote, joker and cosmic trickster - goes retrograde in early Pisces on February 6th @ 2:43 pm MST. Just remember to use the prefix “re” every day and in every way you can over the next three weeks. Relax, recharge, review, reinvent, reclaim, revisit. In whatever, wherever, whenever. It works if you work it.
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) The dance between intellect and emotion continues as the Aquarius Sun moves closer to Pisces. Eternal partners, head and heart constellate humanity’s mysterious adventure of life and learning. Honor and balance them both. Mercury goes retrograde on Feb. 7th and initiates a three-week period of review and reassessment of hopes and dreams. Take it slow and easy.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) Venus direct in Capricorn softly awakens your heart to the practical aspects of love and affection. After all, life is an equation of giving and receiving. Thoughts, words and deeds manifest destiny as we eternally create the present and, in the process, paint the future. Mercury retrograde encourages rest and relaxation. Revision, review and regenerate.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Double-check details, verify messages and service equipment as ruler Mercury begins a 3-week period of retrograde. Be especially attentive to travel plans and vehicles, if things are canceled, so be it. When things don’t work out like we think we want them to, there are always good reasons why. Relax in acceptance and let go of attachment to outcomes.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Another Mercury retrograde period begins this week, so put on the brakes and prepare to postpone - or at least slow down – when it comes to personal agendas and relationship commitments. You may feel as if joint venture projects or plans are falling apart or being mysteriously prevented from moving forward. No worries. Revise and reinvent them.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) The re-assessment of your dreams, hopes and visions is a theme this week and upcoming month as you reconnect with friends and allies, past and present. Slow down rather than speed up when it comes to travel; research places and spaces that inspire and excite you, reconsider options and plans.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) The Aquarius zodiac month encourages themes of self-improvement and self-betterment, favoring acts of service and programs of spiritual practice. Also encouraged are interactions with people who support and share common ground, goals and interests. Fellowships and friendships offer camaraderie and great good fortune. Explore and discover.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) Motivator Mars continues marching through Libra this week, exciting desire and impelling action. On the other hand, Mercury retrograde puts a damper on anything fast, furious, impulsive and/or compulsive. Rewards come with a combination of commitment, patience, acceptance and least resistance. Simply do your best and let the Universe take care of the rest.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Jupiter and now Mercury retrograde in water-signs Cancer and Pisces form a trinity of goodness, love and hope with master teacher Saturn in Scorpio, reminding the world to nurture, care-take and heal themselves via deep soul work and heartfelt compassion. The best choices now are holy and holistic, inventive, realistic and practical. Think out of the box.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) Aquarius favors head over heart and intellect over emotion, directing you toward higher-self thinking and spiritually conscious being. Mercury retrograde in early Pisces adds a touch of mystical magic to the mix, transcending 3D reality, tapping intuition and providing other-world sensations. Open your heart, cultivate mental clarity and embrace what comes.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) As you move through the second zodiac month of your solar year, you may feel more stable and secure than you have in months. Pressure from the ongoing grand cardinal cross has lessened. Now it’s simply a hotline opposition from Jupiter retrograde in Cancer, feeding you plenty of action and opportunity with other people, places and things. Great news: it’s all good.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Happy Birthdays celebrate another revolution around the Sun. As Chinese New Year morphs into Valentines and Presidents Days, you feel revitalized and alive. Embrace joy, count blessings and feel the grace of gratitude. Move in circles of higher learning and expand consciousness via spiritual pursuit as you reacquaint yourself with who and what lives inside.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) Multi-faceted messenger Mercury goes retrograde in Pisces this week, and next week it enters late Aquarius. This translates as three weeks ahead of highly infused spiritual consciousness and deepening soul communion. This is somewhat like a period of gestation, when you prepare for rebirth via rest and regeneration. Relax, feel the fire and follow your inner light.

Happy Chinese Lunar New Year of the Horse: Good Luck Broncos!
The Chinese Lunar New Year comes early in the western Julian calendar this year - it begins at sunset on January 30th, the first sunset following the New Moon conjunction of the Sun and Moon in Aquarius [which takes place on that same day @ 2:38 pm MST] - therefore giving us all a jumpstart on another fresh, inspirational, spiritually infused opportunity to plant those cherished seeds of intention, hope and desire in the fertile cosmic ethers of our ever-expanding Universe.
Gung hay fat choy! Happy Chinese Lunar New Year of the Horse 4712. Good omen for the Broncos? Let’s hope so. Onward, fast and furious, to victory and success. And for anyone interested in watching our favorite, famous cowboy Roudy Roudesbush ride into the Sheridan Bar – on a horse, of course – and start a fabulous orange-and-blue Bronco flag relay from downtown Telluride to the top of the Mountain, click on this link: http://www.youtube.com and enjoy a magnificent Denver Bronco Tellu-ride! Thanks to the Telluride Ski Resort, Brett Schreckengost and Mountain Ghost Media for creating such a beautiful, moving piece of local art and showing the cross-cultural, heartfelt support shared by so many for our own Colorado home team. Good luck Broncos!
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) The Chinese Lunar New Year comes early this year, giving you a quick jumpstart on re-creating and retrofitting resolutions. Aquarius is good for inventive ideas that work. Its inherently mechanical energy combines practical realism with out-of-the-box thinking. And above all, honesty with yourself and others. Make this year different! Change the recipe.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) A fresh New Moon in Aquarius heralds Chinese New Year and a time of awakened ambition for the Bull. More direct solar rays infuse your spirit with light, illuminating themes of achievement and success. The desire for self-improvement via accomplishment runs strong. Social and academic circles beckon your presence. It’s time to get out and get going.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) You may be feeling unclear about which professional project to tackle or commit to, but, no worries, time will tell. It’s often difficult for mutable, restless Twins to rest in life’s process. Natural default positions and inherent curiosity keep you moving. Financial partnerships are back on track; now it’s time to do the books and work on taxes. One day at a time.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Jupiter retrograde in Cancer continues to encourage a thorough process of life revision and review. Where have you been and where do you want to go? Personal daily inventories engender self-awareness; it all begins and ends within. This is a year of wildly beneficial opportunity. Humility, responsibility and gratitude are allies. Focus on the positive and go for the good.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) The Aquarius zodiac month marks the halfway point in your annual revolution around the Sun, a time when you feel more interested and attracted to others in your life and world. Personal focus shifts to relationship focus as you see the many reflections of self in others. You may feel the desire to partner and commit, share and pair. Venus in Capricorn encourages patience and sacrifice. Simply do your best.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) The Chinese New Year of the Horse begins with a bang as planets shift and shapes morph. Transformation is the name of the game as you find yourself thinking about the ideals and realities of relationship. Heartfelt love and physical attraction play a big part in your week. Keep the faith, focus on the facts and maintain programs of self-betterment and self-care.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) You may find yourself discussing domestic issues with family and friends, checking in on yourself and cultivating your personal garden of nurturing as Venus goes direct in Capricorn. Home improvement, self-beautification and relaxing enjoyment are themes. Chinese New Year marks an opening of the heart. Feel the power of love in and all around you.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Feasts and fireworks celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year around the world at sunset following the conjunction of the Sun and Moon in Aquarius. For charismatic Scorpions, it heralds a powerful point of self-reckoning and self-awakening, a time to till the inner soil. Identify seeds of intention and desire as you plan the garden and nurture the spirit.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) The magical mind of hope and inspiration awakens higher-self consciousness as days grow longer and sunrays become more direct. Venus stationary forward in your solar 2nd house of self-reliance and resource encourage the practice of physical wellness and self-care. Recognize the power of personal responsibility and set yourself free.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Voluptuous Venus goes direct in your sign this week, ending a long period of self-revision and review, specifically in the areas of romance and finance. Now that you have redefined what you value, it’s time to start aligning that value system with your life and relationships. Big job? Take it easy, one day and one arena at a time. Cultivate patience and inner peace.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) As you celebrate another revolution around the Sun, the entire Eastern world also celebrates their own. Sunset on the first day following the New Moon in Aquarius marks the advent of Chinese New Year. Cosmic gateways open to the unlimited potential and possibility of our Universe. Plant seeds of intention and desire as you embrace life and dance in starlight.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) Gung hay fat Choy! Good luck, good health and good fortune. Attuned to the eternally bountiful power and potential of the Universe, cosmically aware and spiritually adept, you understand the ultimate grace and grandeur of compassion and loving-kindness. This is the time, now is moment. Live it, breathe it, be it. Show others the way, lead by the light.

Visible Planets: Morning: Venus, Mars, Saturn Evening: Mercury, Jupiter
I have to admit, I love football. Also that I am a life-long Denver Broncos fan. Good, bad or ugly…
I was born and raised in the “Big D” and I grew up on football. My father, Jack Hansen, started playing football as a young boy at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Denver and continued on as an “Angel” at East High. He enlisted in the Coast Guard during his senior year – after football season had ended – to fight the War in the Pacific. Following WWII, he was awarded an honorary diploma from his former principal and headed off to see his Father, who had been transferredfrom Denver to Cleveland, Ohio by the F.W. Woolworth Company. While visiting his Dad, Jack talked to the Cleveland Browns about playing professional football there, but decided against it and returned to Denver. And this is where, on one hot summer night at the Moon Drive-In on East Colfax, his younger brother Neil introduced him to the girl of his dreams and future bride; the beautiful, vivacious, voluptuous Carolyn Carter. And his fate was sealed.
It wasn’t long before they had three children. My older sister, brother and I were each born one year apart. They were busy! And busy making ends meet. By the time my Mother turned 29, she had given birth to five kids – three girls and two boys. Wow! And bless her heart, we had a great childhood. Denver was an amazing place to grow up. Snowball fights, snowmen, backyard skating rinks and swimming pools, running through sprinklers, building tipis and treehouses in vacant lots, riding horses and playing ditch ‘em with the local gang and yes, always, playing and watching football.
My two brothers played Little League football for the Bombers as kids at Cramner Park. My older sister Pam and I practiced with them in our front yard - where I chipped my first tooth - and we learned how to throw, kick and catch the football, how to run with it, how to tackle and how to evade getting tackled. We learned how to play the game.
Years later, I was watching my brother Jeff score touchdowns in South High stadium for our George Washington High School football team. My boyfriend Barry was the halfback. The following summer Pam threw a back yard bridal shower for one of her friends that included a keg of beer. My Dad invited a few of the Broncos over for the afternoon. Those were the early days of Coach Lou Saban, quaterback Steve Tensi and the awesome, amazingly talented running back Floyd Little.
Fast forward from then to now. The Denver Broncos are going to Super Bowl XLVIII. Quarterback Peyton Manning has replaced John Elway, who replaced Craig Morton, who replaced…well, history precedes us. But John Elway is still a big part of our winning team – it’s all in a good “organization” – and my Dad’s birthday is coming up on January 28th.
My relationship with my Father was and is an enigma. Like many little girls, I thought he was the biggest, strongest, most handsome man on Earth. As I grew older, he became human. He struggled. He wasn’t always there for me. I felt he could have been a better father, not just to me, but to all his children. Over the years, I realized he did the best he could. He was a very good man. I forgave him for my expectations. But I don’t know if I forgave myself.
Last Sunday, following the Bronco victory over New England for the AFC Championship, I experienced “a moment” – as my brother Jeff likes to say – a moment of awakening, an opening of the heart. It wasn’t just being happy for our winning home team. It was a deepening of my understanding and compassion for the the players and coaches, a window into the wild and wondrous world of football – the hopes and dreams of little boys, the courage and commitment of young athletes growing into men, the aches and pains, the hours of practice, the chills, thrills and spills. I saw a little boy putting on a football uniform. A little boy who was hoping to catch the attention of his father, a little boy who wanted to do the best he could, make a difference, and win. Of course, the little boy was my Dad. My heart dissolved in compassion. How could I have ever held anything in my heart for him but love? He was as much a little boy as I had been a little girl, looking for those things that little boys and girls look for - love, recognition, comfort and support. A soft place to fall. I felt great gratitude for his life and his presence in my life, his life as a Father to all of us, as a Father to me. He gave me life, with my Mom, and after all, he gave us football.
Happy Birthday Dad. And Go Broncos!
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) The last quarter Moon wanes it way to the black moon period of deep and dark, the most fertile time for planting seeds of intention and desire. The Jan. 30th Aquarius new Moon initiates Chinese New Year of the Horse 4712. Identify what you need to let go of as well as what you want to create and cultivate. Change is the name of the game. Flow and go with it.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) The Aquarius zodiac month is one of challenge and confrontation for the Bull. And this is good. It’s time to untie your wisdom, embrace the gaiety and enjoy the show. And, like always, someone needs to stay grounded. Hallelujah. Forever in demand, you can show others the way. Turn on the light, bask in the glow.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Candles are lit and cakes are cut as air Aquarius celebrates another revolution around the Sun. Congratulations! Guardian spirits remain in tact, they protect and guide, encourage and inspire. But, you must do your part. Awaken to their presence. Open your heart and mind, practice loving kindness and cultivate basic goodness in yourself and others. Easy does it.

Perhaps it’s time to uplift and improve it. Why not?

We are the Moon, the Sun, the Stars...
How about that magnificent full Moon? Wow!
All over the world - on January 15th and 16th - people watched the rise and set of the New Year’s first full Moon. Here we are together; watching, living and being, interactive parts of an interconnected cosmos. We are the stars, made of stardust and starlight. We are the Sun and Moon, the planets and plants, the grass that grows, the flowers that blossom, the fruit that ripens on the vine.
Blessings and peace to all who love life, embrace its goodness and find joy in each and every moment on our beautiful home planet Earth. As the Moon wanes and days grow longer, may we fill our hearts with gratitude and experience the grace of living in its light. We are miracles, each and every one of us. Good luck, good will, good day, good night.
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) The Cancer/Capricorn full Moon reveals where we need to soften our shells and where we must establish healthier boundaries. The less responsible we are, the more helpless we are. Taking responsibility for yourself, your actions and your consequential life situation and circumstances – including relationships – is the road to success.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) From the nurturing waters of Cancer to the pragmatic earth of Capricorn, we evolve into responsible adults, or not. Cancer establishes healthy roots; Capricorn harvests the fruits of the well-tended vine. Action and consequence make up the karmic equation of this polarity. Good news is that Taurus thrives on consistency and stability. Enjoy the fruit of your labors.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) The more we disregard our own feelings and needs, the more we violate the rights and concerns of others. As a mutable air sign, focused on an adaptable and flexible mentality and perception of life, you may not realize the depth of emotion felt by others, let alone your own. Feel your feelings and cultivate compassion. Balance equations, work on solutions.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) As we move through the last week of Capricorn, the Moon is on the wane. A very valuable astrological month is coming to a close, leaving you with plenty of food for thought. Ingest the happenings and subsequent feelings you have experienced and use them like fertile soil. Plant seeds of intention in the cosmic womb, then commit to a daily practice of fulfillment.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) The recent full Moon, combined with several planetary conjunctions and squares, demands a shift from competition to cooperation, hierarchy to equality and domination to collaboration. Comfortable and cozy with authority and control, Lions prefer to rule the roost. Now it’s time to share the power and the wealth. Be of service and serve, rather than rule.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) It’s time for the Virgin to self-nourish and be nurtured by Mother Nature. Even in the dead of winter, there are many ways to find comfort, solace and support in the natural world. Eat fresh, whole, organic foods – how lucky we are to have them! - and practice the arts of the slow food movement. Exercise and diet, prayer and meditation – you know the rules.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) The ongoing cardinal cross between Uranus in Aries, Jupiter in Cancer, Mars in Libra (along with feminine asteroids Vesta and Ceres) and Pluto in Capricorn, mandates awakening in all areas of self and others, performance and profession, home and family. The bottom line is challenge. Take it one day at a time, focus on balance and stay calm.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Changes the in Sun and Earth’s magnetic fields make it more important than ever before to monitor feelings, safely release stored emotions, trust intuition and take extra care of your body and environment. Supportive trines from Jupiter and the Moon to Saturn in Scorpio encourage you to let go and let God. Faith in goodness guides and protects. Keep the faith.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) You may feel as if you are dueling with destiny as you dance with devils and embrace the shadows of doubt and fear. Illumination and light come to those who trust in goodness and practice daily routines of self-examination, self-cleansing and self-care. You crave intimacy, yet demand freedom. Breathe deep, cultivate courage and share the love you have in your heart.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Cancer represents the yin, receptive, feminine principle. It is the mother, she who carries life and gives birth. It is the opposite and complementary energy of Capricorn, the archetypal father, masculine and assertive. These days and times are filled with challenge, change and transformation. You are in the middle of it all. Balance is the key to survival and ultimate success.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) A powerful vortex of invisible force swirls and twirls around your heart and soul as guardian spirits dance in the ethers, guiding you toward true awakening and rebirth. Transformation is a keyword for you these days as facades crumble and truth unveils the hidden structure of reality. Freedom comes to those who know the difference between right and wrong.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) The Cancer/Capricorn full Moon illuminates humanity’s imperative to rebalance the masculine and feminine, cultivate equality and release the patriarchal rule. Survival of our species – and all life upon it - depends upon a true awakening, the heartfelt awareness that we must move into an equal, co-creative partnership between male and female. Do your best.

REvamp, REvision, REvise, ReVenus Life, Love and Laughter
Anyone interested in astrology – and even many who aren’t – have heard the term “Mercury retrograde.” And depending upon their astrological IQ, they either know what it means, have a vague idea, don’t really know or don’t really care. Funny thing is, it’s become a somewhat mainstream term. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had people come up to me and ask, “What’s going on? Is Mercury retrograde?”
The general understanding out there in our modern social, intellectual, highly technological 21st century world is that when Mercury is retrograde, things get screwed up. Things break down, trips are canceled and ships cross in the night. And because Mercury happens to be the multi-faceted, multi-talented “messenger of the gods,” ruling everything on the mental plane - including thoughts, ideas, perceptions, speech, internal dialogues, books, news, mail, email and texts, as well as medicine, magic, machines, commerce, communication, transportation and travel - it has a reputation for wreaking havoc, or at least upsetting, the best laid plans mice, men, women and yes, machines. But, of course, there is always a silver lining to every mercurial, quicksilver cloud.
I like to remind people that whenever a planet is retrograde - and all planets, except the Sun and Moon, [which aren’t really planets] experience periods of apparent retrograde motion – the Universe actually favors actions, things, circumstances and situations that begin with the prefix “re.” It’s a naturally magical combination of planetary rulerships and “retro” energy. All we have to do is remember to apply the mechanics, and, voila! – we’re up and running - even if we are running backward!
The good news is that Mercury is not retrograde this week, or still moving through its forward motion “shadow period” – we finished that up just prior to Thanksgiving 2013. The planet I’m referring to today is none other than the beautiful, seductive goddess of love, money, art and value – magnificent, dazzling, dancing-in-the-ethers planet Venus.
Venus, Mother Earth’s closest planetary neighbor, went retrograde on winter solstice, December 21, 2013 @ 28º Capricorn. It will go stationary direct on January 31, 2014. The Venus shadow period – the point along the ecliptic that Venus will retrograde back to before it resumes forward motion on January 31, 2014 - began on November 20, 2013, when Venus was at 13º Capricorn. This is the ecliptic point Venus retrogrades back to before it resumes forward motion on January 1, 2014. The Venus shadow period ends on March 4, 2014, when Venus returns to 28º Capricorn, the point where it went retrograde on Winter Solstice 2013.
Bottom line: From December 21, 2013 to January 31, 2014, practice putting the prefix “re” in front of every word that has to do with your relationships, love life, value systems, financial situation, art, fashion, creativity, femininity, projects of beautification and campaigns for peace, harmony and justice. Good luck and may the beauty, peace, harmony and sweet love of Venus be your inner companion and outer guardian angel.

Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) The advent of the New Year - complete with a dynamic cardinal cross and fresh new Moon – started 2014 with plenty of snap, crackle, pop! The good news is that you are now awake and aware, ready to let go of the past and move forward into the unwritten future. Act like you have no personal history and fully embrace the present. Go forth.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) With ruler Venus retrograde in Capricorn – your solar 5th house of love and creative pursuit – you may find yourself reviving past romance or taking another look at projects you once found exciting, but decided to pass on. Matters of finance and partnership top your list of priority and attention. It’s time to restructure both. Good luck!
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Venus plays a seductive role in the week as romantic and financial options dance with Saturn, Lord of Karma. Investment partnerships must be re-addressed and re-examined, look at figures and balance equations. Identify how you can be of service and support as you focus on practical, realistic solutions. Cultivate patience and save money rather than spend it.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) While themes of relationship, partnership and your part in them continues, you are now in a more illuminated head and heart-space to truly understand the powerful dynamic behind your own personal actions and behaviors. Energy is catchy, the quality and quantity of what you exude strongly influences the outcome of every situation. Be responsible.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) Messenger Mercury enters your solar 7th house of important others this week, opening channels of communication and business in personal, commercial and professional relationships. Cultivate healthy emotional detachment in all matters of negotiation and intercourse, focus on practical solutions and actual facts. Be calm and cool.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) The Capricorn zodiac month always keeps the heart chakra open and active for the Virgin, and this year says, “open wide!” Lovers and friends activate feelings and may request your time and attention; the challenge is in finding it. Remember to maintain healthy boundaries as you help others delineate realistic solutions to problems. Just don’t get lost!
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) Venus retrograde in your solar 4th house of home and family has you focused on what needs fixing or repairs in both. Whether it’s a messy closet or a misguided sister, do your best to maintain patience, peace and productivity. A one-day-at-a-time approach works best. Show up for yourself and others, focus on facts, do the work and cultivate patience.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Serious, Master Teacher Saturn in your sign sextiles a retrograde Venus in Capricorn this week, awarding you with subtle and obvious opportunities for finding realistic solutions and practical strategies in matters of romance and finance. As you continue to restructure your personal world, embrace the arts of acceptance and responsibility. It works!
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) As the Sun conjuncts a retrograde Venus in Capricorn this week, you may feel the brilliance of your personal values and desires outshining the shimmering rays of others. You know the power of truth and cannot follow a road of deceit or deception for long. Acceptance, responsibility and defenseless are allies now. Take the high road, and follow the light.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) Many people, places and things are at your beck and call these days; everyone seems to want a piece of your pie. And with voluptuous Venus retrograde in your sign, you must re-vision and re-create the world as you see it. Challenges remain hot and heavy. These days and times – actions, words and deeds - write your future. Pay attention to what you do. It’s karma.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Fleet-footed Mercury – ancient messenger of the gods – moves into Aquarius this week and opens the door on many multi-faceted options and opportunities. Others are seeking your inventive ideas and practical but progressive solutions to everyday life situations and circumstances. Your perspective is helpful, so give it with truth and honesty. Then move on.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) You may have realized that the stress and strain exhibited by others these days seems to have passed you by. It’s not that you don’t have challenges, hey, that’s life! But, somehow, you are less upset and more emotionally detached. Congratulations! The cosmos encourages practical, compassionate solutions. Do your best to guide and assist productive resolutions.

A Mile-marker & Touchstone: The Future is Unwritten
Wow! I’m exhausted. Although my Christmas week and New Year’s celebrations were unusually quiet and calm this year – no relatives, no big parties, no big bonfires – I feel somehow very tired. I am grateful and blessed, I am lucky to live in a place so close to nature, a place of silent grandeur and peace. Bald eagles perch on dead-stand pinon outside my window and gnarly cottonwoods along the roadside, stunning sunrise mornings and magnificent sunsets greet and bid the days adieu. And I know I can rest, relax and recharge my batteries, prepare for what lies ahead - do my best – here, embraced by Mother Earth.
No matter where we go, there we are. I live and breathe the same love, fear, joy and anger the entire world lives and breathes. In and out, respiration and inspiration - we do go on - day by day, week by week, year by year. And today, it’s a New Year - a mile-marker, a touchstone, a point along the trail. We are reminded that the future is unwritten and we can always begin anew.
To the west, a slender, delicate slice of a crescent Moon shines through a darkened, misty sky like an illuminated lamp on a foggy sea. Venus – planet of love and beauty – lies hidden behind the clouds, slowing falling below the horizon. In the east, brilliant Jupiter – planet of good luck and good fortune – shimmers rays of encouragement and hope to all those willing to look up, see the light and follow its glow.
Happy New Year and Prospero Ano Nuevo. May you be blessed with peace, love, joy, good health, good fortune and good will. Hello 2014!
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) 2014 begins with a mandate from Capricorn saying that cleaning up the past is critical to being able to create the future. Bringing fears and desires to the light of consciousness is an essential step to healing and future success. Cooperate with authority rather than resist it, as much as you may want to fight. Inner peace is imperative now. This too shall pass.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) The first week of 2014 is packed with dynamic planetary push and pull, snap, crackle and pop. But the opportunity to break through the illusionary façade of falsehood, deceit and deception via the illuminating light of truth promises ultimate redemption. You are being called upon to act out of higher-self consciousness and present-moment awareness. Do your best.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) No one escapes the steady but wild tide of awakening and sobriety that comes with the first week of 2014, including the elusive, clever, shape-shifting Twins. A powerful planetary conjunction delivers a package of reality that some may not want to see or hear. Temper the presentation with detachment and recognize that change is a forever constant.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Breakdowns lead to breakthroughs. Whether they take place near or far, their essential necessity remains true. The biggest challenge may be in not taking it all personally and reacting with potentially damaging – to yourself or others – emotion. Discovery and growth are themes. It may not feel comfortable, but ultimately it’s best. Ride the wave of change.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) Why buck the tiger when you can ride the tide with style and grace? Lions may roar and bare their mighty fangs, but in the end, it’s all for show. 2014 promises you the good luck and great, good fortune of the coveted 12-year Jupiter return. This means you are now wrapping up everything that began 12 years ago. Use pretty paper and don’t forget the bow!
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) At best, the Capricorn time of year is perennially one of creative urges and romantic delights for Virgins. And some years are better than others. 2014 begins with a mixed back of tricks and treats. Old lovers may lament a break-up while new ones beckon excitement. Your best path lies in self-recovery and self-care. Temper lust with caution. Remain calm, take it slow.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) An extremely dynamic cardinal cross – involving a highly excitable, volatile Mars[Libra]/Uranus[Aries] opposition – has you dealing with lighted fuses and hot tempers in relationships. Do your best to remain calm and practical as you seek solutions, discuss options and negotiate settlements. Cultivate the wisdom of emotional detachment. Stay centered.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) You may find yourself in the midst of fireworks this week as celestial forces collide, throwing sparks and lighting fires in places you thought had been identified as neutral territory. Call upon the aid and support of guardian angels, spiritual practices and invisible forces. Strange as it is, you may discover victory in surrender. What may feel like defeat is not.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) Ruler Jupiter squares off in an explosive, dramatic dance with warrior Mars and revolutionary Uranus as the year begins, blasting a path through uncharted territory in deep, intimate relationships. Commitment is the keyword here, and we all know how scary that is to freewheeling Archers. Relax, breathe and keep your arrows handy, but don’t even take aim.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) 2014 begins with a pack of planets together in force in Capricorn. Good news is that you have plenty of cosmic support, not so good news is that there are plenty of adversaries on deck challenging your position, authority and interest. Only equitable – a word you may not like – solutions fly now. You must concede to succeed. Otherwise, accept the consequences.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Ruler Uranus in fiery Aries and excitable Mars in air-apparent Libra both support and encourage your natural tendencies toward individual liberties and personal freedoms. And that is exactly where you can help humanity and assist the spiritual evolution and awakening of the collective. Live and let live and lead by example. Carry the torch of truth.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) 2014 starts off with a bang, and you may not appreciate the rather explosive fallout and collateral damage it showers upon your cozy hearth and home. Hiding out works only as long as the universe allows it. We are pulled toward engagement by unforeseen, magnetic, invisible forces. Rise to the occasion, cultivate faith and be guided by a combination of practical realism and compassionate action.

New Moon, New Year, New Journey on Planet Earth
“What are you ready to leave behind? What do you want to manifest now? A New Moon on New Year’s Day magnifies the potency of our intentions for 2014. Capricorn is concerned with dedication and maturity – to know our dharma, our place in the cosmic order, and to have the discipline and focus to fulfill our destiny. We create with our every thought, word and deed; our lives are the result of our choices.”
These are the words written in the first paragraph of Stephanie Austin’s article “Capricorn New Moon January 1st” in the December/January 2014 issue of The Mountain Astrologer – my favorite “go-to” magazine and website for all things astrological - and she is so correct!
As we wind our way through the last week of 2013, with the distant shadow of Thanksgiving and the more recent reflections of Christmas behind us, we can feel the subtle, but major, emanations of a new calendar year on the horizon. The Capricorn zodiac month, which begins on Winter Solstice and ends on January 19th, constellates a stark contrast to the excessive and over-the-top inclinations of its jolly, jubilant precursor Sagittarius. While Sagittarius is all about spiritual generosity and philanthropic giving, Capricorn comes back down to earth with its practical, pragmatic wisdom and tendency to put everything back in order. We feel a pull toward the realistic, sensible and stable. We want to be useful, effective and efficient, deal with actual facts and experiences rather than theories or hypotheses. At the end of the Capricorn day, it all comes down to balancing equations - with a strong emphasis on the physical, material and financal - but as well all know, the bottom line of every equation is karma.
And Capricorn wants us to manage our karmic equations, recognize the value of self-discipline, accept responsibility for our actions, words and deeds, establish and maintain healthy boundaries, set realistic personal goals and go about working toward their manifestation - all in the spirit of step by step progress, daily practice and structured accomplishment. achievement and success. Ambition is not a dirty in the Capricorn dictionary. Nor is sacrifice.
For all of us here on home planet Earth, the time has come to begin another revolution around the Sun - together - flying through space on our magnificently beautiful, ever-present, living, loving Mother Spaceship. Happy, healthy, prospero ano 2014. May we embrace the grace...
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) Capricorn is crunch time for the Ram. As we break in the New Year, you may find yourself in a highly visible position of authority or control, one that demands much of your time and energy. And with Pluto conjunct the Sun, it’s all about the correct use of will and power. Uranus explodes with themes of freedom and liberation. Seek balance via personal time outs.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) Messages from a higher source, teacher, saint or guru weave their way into your consciousness, directing you to manifest higher-self living and being. Feelings of spiritual generosity fill your heart as you recognize the inherent gifts you have been blessed with. Good fortune opens doors to giving. Joy comes via helping those in need, especially when you see it helps.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) Christmas has passed and it’s time to ring in the New Year. Take a deep breath and count your blessings. Self-responsibility and self-reckoning are allies now; you’re in the mood to take charge of everything personal. Start by clearly defining boundaries in relation to others. Draw the line when it comes to over-helping. Be practical and realistic. Focus on the facts.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) With brightly shining Jupiter so prominent in the night sky as the New Year begins, don’t miss the opportunity to look up and see the light. This generous celestial benefactor is making its once-every-12-year transit through your sign, opening doors and presenting you with opportunities of good luck and great fortune. Just keep it simple and practice gratitude.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) Remember service and cultivate gratitude as the New Year begins. Say thank you as much as possible and refrain from arrogant displays of self-righteous or ego-fueled behaviors. Health is wealth and words are both powerful tools and weapons. Focus on what you put in your mouth, as well as what comes out of it. This is a time of self-reckoning. Do your best.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) As the Sun and Moon come together in conscientious Capricorn, you may find yourself ready to start fresh in matters of the heart. Budding romance beckons and excites your senses. This time, stay grounded and take it easy, one day at a time. Virgos are great at either criticizing or idealizing. This time, be calm and keep fantasy in balance. Just be real.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) A new Moon on New Year’s Day translates as a powerful start out of the gate and puts you in a potentially winning place. Good news is that much of the running is done up close and personal, at home and inside your heart and soul. This is a race of grace, a competition of self, a time to face what and who lives within. Take time to slow down, be calm and follow the light.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Friends and fellowships shimmer and shine upon your path of life as a Capricorn new Moon christens the New Year with hopes, dreams and aspirations. Recognize the power of choice and the virtue of patience as you consider the options, identify desires and factor in values. Emotional detachment helps you see the forest for the trees, and how to get where you want to go.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) What are you ready to leave behind? What do you want to manifest now? A New Moon on New Year’s Day magnifies the potency of your intentions in 2014, so definitely consider the ramifications of what you think you want. Creation comes from thoughts, words and deeds. Our lives are a result of our choices. Embrace the karma of action and simply do it right.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) The snap-crackle-pop New Year’s Day new Moon takes place in your sign, ramping up the impact you have on yourself and everyone else. What a concept, that you are totally in charge of how your life and love-life manifests. No more victim mentalities or blaming others for what goes wrong. Let go of what is old and make room for the new. Create space.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) The tight Capricorn conjunction of the Sun and Moon in the wee hours of the New Year impels us to eliminate or transform any outgrown or outworn structures in our lives. Evolutionary rays of light and shimmering shadows of doubt dance together in divine harmony, balancing fear with faith. Let go of ego and embrace your higher self.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) As the higher octave of Mars, Pluto symbolizes the desires of the higher self, which differs greatly from the ego. 2014 offers itself to you as an open canvas, an opportunity to create your opus Magnus. You are simply asked to co-create with the divine, recognize the power within and let it flow. Stay away from “shoulds” and “coulds”- simply follow your heart.

Christmas and Solstice Celebrations of Light
Winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, the shortest day of the year, takes place in 2013 on December 21st. The Sun is symbolically reborn on this day; it has reached its southernmost point on the Earth’s horizon and begins its long journey back north, passing through spring equinox and continuing on to its northernmost point of summer solstice in June. Days will be getting longer, and darkness is on the wane.
Many ancient – and not so ancient - cultures have conducted celebrations of light and performed rituals of renewal on winter solstice for millennia. And today the tradition lives on. In America, we string Christmas lights on trees and buildings, bushes, cactus, statues, trucks and cars. Anything is game. It’s a lovely perennial holiday show honoring the Spirit of Light.
Last week I made my own small journey north to Denver, city of my birth, to visit friends and family. Amidst emotions and motion, I met up with my long-cherished-girlfriend-from-high school, Molly – who now lives in New Orleans and is an English professor at Tulane – for dinner and cantos at the vesperas ceremony on the evening prior to the El Dia de Guadalupe feast day.
A few days later I found myself in Larimer Square, having dinner at Ted’s Montana Grill with family and friends. How the city has changed since my childhood and teens, when Larimer Street was home to winos and bums, full of abandoned buildings, flophouses and seedy hotels. But just like the Sun at winter solstice, downtown Denver has been reborn. Fancy shops and gourmet restaurants abound. Coors Field and LoDo are super cool and hip. Hot chics with great legs in short skirts, boots and stockings were out in full force, well-dressed young men smiling and laughing, shoppers and boppers. No bums or winos, no abandoned buildings in sight.
But, there was one Christmas tradition in downtown Denver that has remained the same. The magnificent, beautiful Civic Center Building facing the Colorado State Capitol Building is still decorated in a bounty of light. It’s distinctive shape and façade, colonnades, spiring clock tower and arcing wings were drenched in rainbows of color. Greens, blues, reds and yellows. It looked like a lucious, big Christmas cake of shimmering light. Sweet!
Merry Christmas, Happy Solstice and blessings of Joy and Peace on Earth. May you walk in beauty and follow the light...
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19) Winter Solstice translates as a point of reckoning for the Ram. What you have done, how you have behaved and the self you present to the world come together in a equation of truth and consequence. And with several planets in reality-based Capricorn, you must face the facts and accept the results. Cause and effect equal karma.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20) Philanthropic giving and right action living embrace the Bull with inspiration and gusto as celestial light illuminates the best within. Giving to those in need, focusing on positive aspects - rather than what annoys you – makes you happy, healthy and wise. These are times of great challenge for the world and you can make it better. Simply do your part.
Gemini (May 21-June 21) The best strategy these days is to take care of your own back yard and let others take care of theirs. Self-responsibility is key to happiness now, cultivate healthy boundaries, especially when it comes to spending. It’s easy to get out of control during the holidays, but, ultimately it’s an equation of action and consequence. Keep your head, count your blessings.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) The celestial grand cardinal cross of planets in orb these days is especially poignant for Moonchildren. Home, family, important others and personal self are aligned in a square dance of time, attention and priority. Do your best and focus on balance. This holiday week is demanding. Find your center, breathe deep, cultivate gratitude and choose joy.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22) The holidays offer the Lion multiple opportunities to give from the heart, be of service to others and help those who need help. Motivation to get out and about, see the lights and enjoy the Christmas spirit runs strong. Guardian angels surround you now, look for them in everyone you meet. Open to the possibilities of magic, divine guidance and loving kindness.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22) The 2012 Christmas week may feel more grounded and practical than those in the recent past. Could it be because you are more grounded and practical now than you have been in years? Good things come to those who associate with people who value right action, clean living and self care. Responsibility and practice are key to happiness. Embrace them both.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct. 22) Busy-ness is everywhere. Wherever you go, there you are. The winds of change blow strong this week as solstice fires flicker with flames of illumination and understanding. Acceptance and right action are keys for health, happiness and well being. Balance emotions with facts and focus on goodness and gratitude. Find inner peace amidst the madness and embrace grace.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22) Present moment living and heartfelt giving are allies in your battle of integrity, honesty and right action. Planetary power in your solar 3rd house of perception and communication has you observing what you see, hear and say. Practice impeccability with your word and don’t make assumptions. Release resentments and let go of fear. Ask the angels.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20) As the Sagittarius birthday month ends on Winter Solstice, the Archer moves into a phase of personal responsibility and realistic self-assessment. What are you doing to take care of you? Are you cultivating healthy boundaries, balancing equations and drawing the line when it comes to indulgence? Enjoy the week as you prepare to prune the bush.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19) An action-packed week presents itself with plenty of things to do, parties to attend and people to embrace. Do your best to maintain balance as you go out to see, meet and greet the world. You are somewhat the belle of the ball now, smile and let your light shine. Dress up, decorate and create beauty as you go. Accomplishment motivates, just don’t burn out! Enjoy!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) A practical, realistic pack of planets in Capricorn is spending the Christmas week in your solar 12th house of compassion, forgiveness and spirit. You may feel more like giving than receiving, so go ahead and share the wealth. And you know that what goes around, comes around, so it’s all good. Help others, be of service and enjoy the joy.
Pisces (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) The Aquarian spirit of friendship, fellowship and camaraderie emerges this week as you find great joy in getting together with people you enjoy. Romantic feelings inspire artistic creativity, share your heart with those you love. Beauty is in a all around you, embrace its bounty as you cultivate self-authenticity, honesty and integrity. Merry Christmas!
