Hello!
Several years ago, in 2008 to be exact, I realized that I needed to “get a job!” The credit card charging, living beyond one’s economic means bubble had popped. Americans everywhere were facing brutal financial realities, losing jobs and houses, struggling to make ends meet. My husband and I own, live on and operate a spruce tree farm in southwestern Colorado. We wholesale to nurseries and landscapers; suddenly landscaping was the last thing on everyone’s list.
I decided to revive my astrological counseling business – in 2001 I had stopped doing readings due to the unexpected death of a business partner who left his large tree brokerage business in our lap – and got down to researching websites and blogs. I took a good look at my chart, transits and progression. I contacted premier astrologer Dana Gerhardt and scheduled a reading. I realized that it was all about the Internet and cyberspace, tapping in to the collective consciousness via the virtual threads of the world wide web woven around planet Earth.
So…here we are. Here I am, still living on a magnificent mesa in southwestern Colorado, typing words into cyberspace, checking email and updating my blog. My website www.alacazem.com has been a success. It’s wild and crazy, often mysterious and puzzling, sometimes frustrating and occasionally demanding, but all in all, it’s NOW.
